The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Cavite partners with the Women’s Business Council—Philippines under the Increasing Digital Skills and E-commerce for Asean Women MSMEs (IDEAS) Project Batch 2 to spearhead a series of training on Enhancing Digital Economy Participation for ASEAN Women MSMEs.
During their Pilot Training held on July 2, 2024, thirty-five (35) MSMEs from Cavite and Laguna were fortunate to access the Digital Transformation for Women MSMEs — a course designed to empower entrepreneurs and give them a comprehensive understanding of electronic commerce and how it can benefit their business.
The course delves into the various aspects of conducting business online, from setting up an e-commerce website to implementing effective digital marketing strategies. IDEAS participants are expected to gain insights into the latest trends and best practices in the e-commerce industry and practical guidance on navigating challenges and seizing opportunities.
The course also addresses the unique challenges and opportunities women-owned businesses may encounter in the digital marketplace.
