All retail establishments such as supermarkets, department stores, appliance centers and hardware stores, as well as DTI accredited service and repair shops can join the program and apply for the DTI-Bagwis Seal of Excellence.

Applicants for the DTI-Bagwis Seal of Excellence will be evaluated according to the DTI Bagwis program parameters which will serve as basis for the qualification of awardees for either Bronze, Silver or Gold award.

Upon assessment , the DTI Bagwis applicant should meet the requirements as per level of awards (Bronze, Silver or Gold) specifically:

• Bronze – Compliance to Fair Trade Laws + Consumer Welfare Desk (CWD) or an equivalent customer relations office inside the mall
• Silver – Achievement of Bronze requirements + Social Responsibility
• Gold – Achievement of Silver requirements + some elements aligned to ISO 9001
