Mr. Ron Oliver G. Clarin is one proud Gentriseño. With his committed determination and willingness to learn more, he was able to win battles on both personal and professional life.

He is the owner and General Manager of ROC. PH Digital Marketing Services.  Before venturing unto his own company, he gained experience through the help of a friend wherein the latter introduces him to the online works abroad since 2012.  He was once called as an Online Worker, Marketing Strategist or Business Consultant. With work experience, good communication skill and self-confidence, he now established his own company the “ROC.PH Digital Marketing Service” in 2015.

As he was starting up his own, many were astonished to see a high school looking man applying for his own business’ legal papers and was even bizarre to know that he was in fact the owner.  But whatever others may say or comment, it didn’t hinder him to do what he enjoys and love the most.

In 2016, as Department of Trade and Industry – Cavite launch the Kapatid Mentor Me Program, Mr. Ron was part of the first batch and even become the youngest mentee. The program is design to taught the mentees with different modules from marketing, to technical up to accounting and management lessons with a business plan as their final out. With continuous partnership with DTI-Cavite, leads him to a bigger horizon as he was recognized in 2019 as one of 100+tech start ups in the Philippines recognized by Go Negosyo/Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship and in this year, he become National Grand Winner start up founder in the Accelerating Development, Valuation and Corporate Entrepreneurship (ADVANCE) for Creatives Programs – a collaboration between the DTI-Philippines, Launchgarage and Startup Cohort Batcg 1 Finalist of the ICONS South Luzon Launchpad Program.

With his exposure to the different programs of the Department of Trade and Industry, this pilots him to volunteer works through speakership and mentorship, amongst is the Incubation for Entrepreneurs Program, sponsored by Payoneer and Bridge for Billions. He is also part of Go Negosyo Program, offering guidance to aspiring and existing entrepreneurs; what’s more, he mentors Master’s Degree students at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).

While Mr. Ron was able to achieve many milestones in his professional life, some things is crumbling down in his personal life. It was in 2020 during pandemic that he was diagnosed with social anxiety that results to his nervous breakdown. Trembling, palpitations and nauseous all the same time occurs as he was experiencing this turmoil. This maybe an embarrassment to others but he courageously faces the problem as he consults to specialist in addressing his anxiety problem. Little by little, he became ok, as the occurrence of his breakdown lessens. Aside from this, he earned his bachelor degree in Office Management in Philippines Christian University in 2024.

Through Mr. Ron’s life story, he taught how to be firm. He taught us that being vulnerable and sharing one’s weakness is not a liability, it is a strength and being true to yourself. Life is so complex and different, as everyone may encounter different struggles. He also shown us his selflessness as he willingly shares his expertise and knowledge to other. May he be our guiding light.
